We are using Prism v6.2 and we want to put some configuration data in the users homedrive.

When using the %homedrive% user environment variable in a variable folder the data is installed only for the first user.
We also tried it with a prismvariable containing HKCU\Volatile Environment\Homedrive.
We expect that this will be installed for every user because we are using HKCU.

Can you explain how this works and provide me with a way to handle this.

Thanks in advance

Creating the variable folder within Prism is the first step. The 2nd step is to go into the Package properties, Variable tab. Create a new variable called homedrive. Go the the variable Requirements tab, and uncheck the box "Value should be the same for all users of the same computer." That should do the trick.
