Hi,

I made a clean install of 7.01 on a different server because the server running 6.03 was a bit shaky. I installed the clients again from the new server and everything works fine. The clients are still subscribing to the old channel. Wouldn’t it be easier to do like below?

Create a package that deletes the registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Lanovation\Prism Deploy\Channels\ChannelSerialNumberThingy

Now I have two keys, one for every channel. If I do run a un-subscribe task it will delete the key pointing to the old server. But is that enough?

Thanks,

Björn

Hi Bjorn,

You could really use either method - a package or unsubscribing them from the original Channel. When you unsubscribe them, it deletes the "ChannelSerialNumberThingy" , so the result is the same.
