how cna I use group and profile to install updates to many machins together at same time ,

Hi Mohamed,

You have two options...

1) Once you create a 'group' (add machines manually) or create a 'profile' (add machines automatically), you can open that group or profile and click on first machine in the group, then hold down 'shift key' and click on the last machine in that group or profile.  Once all machines are highlighted you can right click on the patch(s) you want and select 'install'.

2) If you do not use groups or profiles, you can select multiple machines by holding down 'control key' and clicking on the machines you want to deploy to.  Once all the machines are highlighted you can right click on the patch(s) you want and select 'install'.

Things to remember:

*You can only deploy to groups or multiple machines of the same OS.

*Machines must have been queried at least once in order to automatically populate into a 'Profile'.
